RK Emerger Peacock Fly Tying Tutorial
Skill Level: Beginner
The RK Emerger is an outstanding midge (or small caddis) pupa imitation. We like to fish these as droppers underneath Skwalas in the spring. They also do well on the Boise River through town fished deep on a double nymph rig.
The sulky metallic thread makes the pattern – be sure to tie with this special material to bring the fly to life.
