Idaho Steelhead Fishing Report
Steelhead fishing is picking up! The weather looks to be improving and fish are starting to get active. We've received several decent reports out of the Riggins area. It's time to get out and fish.
The Salmon in that area is big water, but there are a lot of good runs you can hit on foot. Two handed rods, switch rods and heavy sink tips will definitely come in handy.
If you're looking for something a bit more manageable (for wading), think about the Grand Ronde. Fishing's been excellent and you can fish a variety of patterns and methods (swing or nymph).
Either way, fishing will only improve as we get into March and April!
