Through months of planning, long hours, and the grace of good friends and kin, the Trout Lie became a reality in early 2009 as a result of a dire need for better quality fly fishing resources and information.
Greg Montemurro and Tim Burke take on the day to day responsibilites at the Trout Lie. They've been fishing area waters for the better part of two decades and have a combined experence that spans over 40 years.
In the 'early days' Greg and Tim became fast friends as the dry humored employees of the Stonefly Angler. From there, Tim opened the Riverkeeper Fly Shop and Greg moved on to another calling in the service of the country.
As fate would have it, after many years and experiences in life and on the water they've reconnected to build the Trout Lie Fishing Company.
