About Us
Through months of planning, long hours, and the grace of good friends and kin, the Trout Lie became a reality in early 2009 as a result of a need for better quality fly fishing resources and information.
Greg Montemurro and Joel Nowlin take on the day to day responsibilites at the Trout Lie - taking on roles as editors, website developers, videographers, copywriters, tying instructors, and ultimately resident fish heads. Their combined experience spans over 40 years specializing in trout, salmon, and steelhead throughout the United States and Canada.
