This is the perfect gel floatant for those larger Stones and Hoppers. We also like this for the general attractor stuff -- Humpies, Wulffs, and Adams.

Nestled in the heart of the Sawtooth wilderness, the Middle Fork of the Salmon is about as wild and scenic as freestone fishing gets. Crisp winter runoff rolls over ancient boulders to create some of the best pocket water fishing imaginable.
The river is typically free of crowds, unstocked, and offers several miles of untouched water. There are no roads, buildings, car horns or amenities. A trip to the Middle Fork is truly an opportunity to step back one hundred years and experience Idaho as it once was.
The river has a heavy population of wild rainbow and cutthroat trout and I haven’t met a selective one yet. Don’t expect much size, but if you go take plenty of attractor patterns, a camera, and a good friend to share the experience with.
This river presents a fantastic fishing opportunity for those willing to get out and take a hike. If you’re new to the sport, the area, or just in need of a change of pace from the pressure of more popular streams, the Middle Fork of the Salmon offers an outstanding day or weekend adventure…and you’ll only need to drive about 125 miles from Boise to get there!
